The Fourth Ragnar Trail Relay has crossed the finish line!
In early June, 18 TD SYNNEX employees and families went the extra mile to raise funds for two fantastic organizations, Hope for the Warriors and Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation, by participating in the Ragnar Relay that covers 120 miles per team over a two-day span.
Share the Magic Colorado is thrilled to announce that $4,696 was raised during this event.
“We weren’t really out to win anything or beat any specific times,” said Gavin Critchlow, relay runner and Product Business Manager for Cisco Security at TD SYNNEX. “The event itself was mostly a team-building exercise.” And, of course, an opportunity to raise money for two worthy causes.
The Ragnar Trail Run is a relay that requires each runner to run (or walk) a little more than 16 miles. While there are 20 different geographic locations for Ragnar Runs, this event took place in Snowmass, CO. Snowmass Village was right next to the tent city area where the runners camped, and the runners enjoyed having a fun place to visit between runs for s’mores over campfires, movies, live music, food, drinks and swag.
“The race was a great way to bring together a group of people from our community who share our passion in supporting Share the Magic Colorado’s cause,” said Matt Buszkiewic, TD SYNNEX Vendor Marketing Manager, who was also a runner in this year’s relay. “Everyone went into the event knowing that we were there to spread the word of our charity partners and gather as many donations as we could for HOPE and Children’s. We arrived as 18 individuals and left as one dedicated team.”
Thank you to all who participated — runners and walkers alike — and made the relay a success!
